Grass - Dust Devil
Switch Grass Panicum Dust Devil, Panicum virgatum 'Dust Devil' , is truly the devil of all Panicums, and if you are looking for a hardy and sturdy switch grass, this one is it! This switch grass is quite durable and grows well under stressful conditions. Dust Devil grass will remain standing through winter unless snows are very heavy. The blue-green to green foliage forms an upright, dense clump, and when the season turns to fall, it shows off a hint of deep purple red. Lavender pink flower panicles appear in late summer; flowers turn tan as they age. Dust Devil provides shelter for birds and wildlife during the coldest days of winter. Switch grass gets its name from the soft swishing sound it makes when swaying in the wind. A very versatile grass, Dust Devil adds an architectural design to any landscape. It is effective as a specimen, in masses, alongside ponds or even in a large container. Colorful and hardy, a great combination!

Hosta - Seducer - DetailsHosta - Seducer - Sale Price: $42.75
The Hosta Seducer, Hosta 'Seducer', is a very large sized hosta with broad dark green leaves.  ‘Seducer' has dark green leaves that are trimmed in slightly ruffled, yellow margins.  There is a trace of a white line that develops between the two colors as the season progresses; summer heat is needed for the white line to develop. Late summer through fall, the clump is topped by near white flowers that rise on tall scapes.  Because ‘Seducer’ has large leaves its coloration is very distinct. Hostas grow best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots.  It is best to keep areas around hostas clear of excess leaf debris to reduce the presence of slugs and snails.  Plant this low care plant in an area that receives the right amount of light.  The leaves need some morning sun to bring out the best coloration; too much sun will burn the leaves.  ‘Seducer' is most at home in shady, woodland settings and often works well as specimen or edging plant. ‘Seducer' has an amazing assortment of colors in each leaf that intensifies in bright light; fairly sun tolerant but should be given dappled shade. * Heart shaped leaves * Easy to grow * Large plant
