Salvia - Marcus - Sale Price: $42.75 The Salvia ‘Marcus’, Salvia nemorosa, (PPAF) is a new dwarf version of the Salvia ‘May Night’. With its compact, dense habit of growing, it is easy to accommodate in any perennial garden. Marcus produces spikes of intense violet-blue flowers bloom on top gray-green foliage and flower from June to October. ‘Marcus’ has a plant height of 12” and a spread of 12-18”. Salvia ‘Marcus’ should be planted in full sun in a moist well-drained area. To increase bloom time, it should be cut back after the first bloom. ‘Marcus’ is a magnet for butterflies, bees and hummingbirds and is deer-resistant. This salvia does very well in heat. Virginia Creeper - Sale Price: $55.35 The Virginia Creeper, Parthenocissus quinquefolia 'engalmani', is a fast-growing, high-climbing vine that attaches itself with tendrils which expand, disk-like, on their tips. The deciduous leaves that radiate outward from a leaf stem, like spokes on a wheel.   Each leaflet is about 3-7 long and an inch or two wide.  The leaves turn fiery red in fall and are very showy. The individual flowers are tiny and inconspicuous, and arranged in elaborate long-stemmed clusters, with each flower at the tip of its own flower stem. The berries are blue-black, less than a half-inch across and much relished by birds.  Easy to grow, the Virginia Creeper can get out of hand if not managed. Also known as Woodbine, it will send up sprouts and seed itself, and established plantings may smother shrubs and trees.  Virginia creeper will thrive in most soils, in sun or partial shade, with or without a structure to climb on. Virginia creeper is favored for its brilliant fall foliage and as a maintenance-free ground cover.  When allowed to clamber over trees or other tall structures, it develops elongated leafy festoons that are especially showy.  Where there is nothing to climb, it attaches to the ground with adventitious roots, and makes an excellent cover for slopes or other places where grass is not practical or desired. * Fast growing * High climbing * Brilliant fall color

Dianthus - Fire and Ice - Sale Price: $39.95 Dianthus Fire and Ice, Dianthus 'Fire and Ice', displays a rich, deep pink raspberry color.  It is a stunning and fragrant 1-1½ flower that is splashed with light pink dots and trimmed with nearly smooth cool white picotee edging. ‘Fire and Ice’ is unlike some dianthus in that it has nearly smooth edged petals.  It offers a profusion of flowers with a lovely sweet fragrance that will attract butterflies! The grey-green foliage of this dianthus, and its rounded compact habit, make it a fabulous plant for borders, in mass, or containers.  Add a layer of mulch to protect the evergreen foliage in colder climates, but once the weather becomes warmer, remove the mulch.
