Iris - Black Gamecock - Sale Price: $42.75 The Iris ‘Black Gamecock’ has intense blue-black 4-6” blooms that are accented with a band of yellow.  This golden throat just highlights the ebony hues of the bloom.  It is an absolutely breathtaking flower! Salvia - Marcus - Sale Price: $42.75 The Salvia ‘Marcus’, Salvia nemorosa, (PPAF) is a new dwarf version of the Salvia ‘May Night’. With its compact, dense habit of growing, it is easy to accommodate in any perennial garden. Marcus produces spikes of intense violet-blue flowers bloom on top gray-green foliage and flower from June to October. ‘Marcus’ has a plant height of 12” and a spread of 12-18”. Salvia ‘Marcus’ should be planted in full sun in a moist well-drained area. To increase bloom time, it should be cut back after the first bloom. ‘Marcus’ is a magnet for butterflies, bees and hummingbirds and is deer-resistant. This salvia does very well in heat. It is beneficial to sheer salvia after blooming to promote fresh foliage and blooms. Marcus may be divided every 3 to 5 years in early spring. It is a clump-forming, warm season grass which typically grows in an upright, vertical clump to 3' tall (to 5' when in flower). Its foliage is green, tinged with red during the growing season, then turning bright red in the fall. Nothing comes close to the fall color displayed by this grass, and it retains this color throughout the winter! It will attract birds and is suitable for cut and dried flower arrangements.
