The Juniper 'Kallay Pfitzer', Juniperus chinensis 'Kallays Compacta', is a select and improved form of compact pfiltzer that is one of the best evergreens for hot, poor, dry soils in city conditions! It is a vigorous grower with a dense, compact growth habit. 'Kallay Pfitzer' has fine bright green, thick foliage, and sometimes blue or reddish fruits follow the small white flowers. Having a sweet fragrance when crushed, this low maintenance and compact, flat-topped shrub is drought tolerant once established. It is tolerant of a wide variety of soils including clay, but intolerant of wet soils. * 'Kallay Pfitzer' will provide color year round!

Blush Satin is a tremendous improvement in hardy Hibiscus.  It is a strong growing plant with lots of large, brightly colored blooms. A moderate grower, ‘Mathilde’ is also pollution-tolerant and prefers full sun and well-drained soil. This Blush Satin does best in full sun, but light shade is acceptable, especially in far southern or southwestern climates. It is very tolerant of heat and drought, but keep it well watered during growth. The Ames St Johnswort, Hypericum kalmianum 'Ames', often commonly called Kalm St Johnswort, is an evergreen shrub or subshrub with upright branching that typically grows in a dense mound to 2-3’ tall. It is a neatly rounded garden shrub with dazzling golden yellow flowers in mid summer. 'Ames' is slightly hardier than the species and has a more uniform shape. Flowers give way to beaked, oval, brown seed capsules that mature in fall and often persist on the shrub until spring. 'Ames' St Johnswort is easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. It prefers moist, rich, sandy loams and tolerates some drought.
