Lilac - Alexander Pink
The Alexander Pink Lilac, Syringa x prestoniae 'Alexander Pink', is a nice, bright-pink late-blooming Canadian Lilac.  It is very similar in habit to ‘Royalty’ Lilac. A vigorous, non-suckering lilac, 'Alexander Pink' is extremely hardy (-45° below zero).  It needs good drainage and does best in full sun. Promptly remove faded flower panicles before seeds set, since this will increase bloom for the following year.  Prune as needed immediately after flowering. This lilac is easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soil in full sun. It tolerates light shade, but best bloom quality and disease resistance occur in full sun. 'Alexander Pink' prefers rich, moist, neutral soils. Begin to enjoy the lovely blooms in late spring! * Extremely Hardy! * Bright Pink Flowers!
