Dogwood - Red Twigged - DetailsDogwood - Red Twigged - Sale Price: $54.25
Whether you call it a Redtwig, Redstem, Redosier or Red Osier, this stunning dogwood’s red winter bark just make the winter a lot less dreary. It is perfect for a shady spot, near a tree line or on the north side of a house, but will do equally well in full sun as a hedge or in a group. Needs attentive watering; leaves can wilt in very hot sun, which may be mistaken for thirstiness. The red-twigged dogwood offers interest year-‘round: milky white flowers in spring, then soothing green foliage in spring and summer, cabernet-wine colored leaves in fall, and its signature deep red bark in winter. In early spring, cut the shrub back to four to six inches from the ground to ensure a perennial show of red stems over the coming winters. The clustered fruits are low in sugar, which birds seem to like more than deer; in fact, this shrub is the favored nesting place of American goldfinches. Zones 3-7. * Lots of winter interest!

Snowberry - Magic Berry - DetailsSnowberry - Magic Berry - Sale Price: $92.75
The Snowberry 'magic berry', Symphoricarpos x doorenbosii 'Magic Berry', is a compact, spreading hybrid that has an abundance of rose-pink fruit showing color already in July. These masses of pinkish-purple berries line each branch in autumn.  This striking crop of 'Magic Berry' fruits mature to deep claret in autumn, and may be retained well into winter. This compact, dense, thicket-forming deciduous shrub has ovate, dark-green leaves that turn dull yellow in autumn.  The short racemes of pale pink flowers appear in summer. Its berries are dramatic against very dark green foliage and even more remarkable in snow! This hybrid selection of Indian Currant coral berry has a more compact, spreading habit than common coral berry. Use as a specimen, in groups, and on banks for erosion control. This plant is often planted over large areas of slopes or banks as a hardy ground cover.  'Magic Berry' is also mildew resistant. * Hardy * Berries for wildlife * Winter interest
