Clematis - Duchess of Albany - Sale Price: $42.75 Clematis Duchess of Albany, Clematis texensis 'Duchess of Albany', is a vigorous grower with 2 wide tulip-like flowers. The unique flowers have pink petals with darker pink center bars. This clematis is excellent for late summer color blooming from July thru October; makes a fine complement to a climbing rose. Grow ‘Duchess of Albany’ where the delicate blooms can be admired at close range, such as over a low shrub by a pathway, or in a trellised patio container. It is a modest grower compared to the large-flowering types, yet its height is dependent on the structure it climbs! Clematis Duchess of Albany needs a supporting structure to grow properly but will also grow over large shrubs, over walls, cover stumps, and make perfect cover ups for unsightly service areas.
