Tiarella - Neon Lights Foam Flower - Sale Price: $56.95 The Tiarella Neon Lights, 'Tiarella hybrid', PPAF, also known as Foamflower, is becoming one of the most popular shade perennials on the market today. ‘Neon Lights’ has deeply cut fuzzy green foliage. The highlights of black and purple patterns make it what it is. Best of all, the coloration is more intense during the winter months, not to mention being lightly fragrant. White flowers appear in the summer; however, Tiarella’s are not especially noted for their flowers. ‘Neon Lights’ has a plant height of 6-8” and a plant spread of 12-15”. Tiarella will do best in full shade and need average to moist soil. To create a more neat appearing plant, remove the old foliage before new leaves emerge. The plant clumps can be divided every 2 or 3 years in the spring. Try planting this popular perennial with Lamium ‘White Nancy’, Hosta ‘Patriot’ or ‘Japanese Painted Fern’ for color contrast. Sedum - Star Dust - Sale Price: $49.95 Sedum Star Dust, Sedum 'Star Dust', is a pale pink budded succulent sedum with grey-green leaves, topped with large, flat, white flower-heads in late summer. Star Dust begins to produce green broccoli-like buds in mid-summer, which gradually open into large clear-white flower heads, later developing a tinge of pink. Star Dust is a valuable late source of nectar for butterflies and bees too. This sedum looks great planted in bold drifts towards the front of a sunny, well-drained border. Seed heads also add some winter interest. It is best to apply a thin layer of compost each spring, followed by a 2-inch layer of mulch to keep soil moist and control weeds. Choose an area where the plant will receive sun to partial shade. Bleeding Heart - Specatabilis - Sale Price: $64.25 The Bleeding Heart Specatabilis, 'Dicentra ‘specatabilis’, is a fast-growing perennial with pink, heart-shaped flowers. It is the most common variety in its species. The blooms look wonderful against its grayish foliage.  Dicentra ‘specatabilis’ has a plant height of 30” and a width of 20”. This Dicentra should be planted in full sun but will tolerate morning shade.  It is heat tolerant and needs moist soil.  Do not let it dry out. This Bleeding Heart will bloom from May to September and is a major attractor to butterflies.
