Coral Bells - Palace Purple - Sale Price: $42.75 The Heuchera ‘Palace Purple’, Heuchera micrantha, also known as Alumroot or Coral Bell, is one of the most popular Coral Bells on the market! Being named Perennial of the Year in 1991, one can see why. With its unique deep purple foliage, fading to bronzy green in hot summers, and its dark red stems, it is a little different than the rest. In the springtime, small pinkish and white flowers appear that last into the summer, however, Coral Bells are not known for their flowers, but their foliage. ‘Palace Purple’ has a plant spread of 10-15” and a height of 12-18”.  It is best to grow it in medium wet, well-drained soils, in full shade. (It can tolerate some morning sun.) ‘Palace Purple’ looks especially good around the edge of borders, near variegated plants, woodland edges, rock gardens, perennial borders, or in mass to form an attractive ground cover. Hacyon, displays leaves with a green edge and are have gold colored centers.  The fragrant violet flowers bloom from July to August, and it has a plant height of 16” and a spread of 32-36”.  The dense foliage crowds out most garden weeds.  This Hosta provides bright color in shade with wonderful foliage.  It was the 2001 Hosta of the Year! ‘June’ is a low care perennial and is ideal for shady positions and is one of the most popular for landscapes.  It is best to keep areas around hostas clear of excess leaf debris to reduce the presence of slugs and snails. Emerald Blue may also be called creeping phlox or moss phlox. Blooming from April to May, it has a plant height of 4-6” and a spread of 18-24”. It is a definite addition to any perennial garden. ‘Emerald Blue’ needs to be planted in a full sun area in well-drained soil. Daylily - Blueberry Candy - Sale Price: $54.95 Hemerocallis Blueberry Candy, Hemerocallis 'Blueberry Candy', is a marvelous reblooming plant with fragrant, soft ivory flowers.  It has a blueberry colored eye and ruffled petals. ‘Blueberry Candy’ blooms profusely in midsummer and then again in late summer when many other perennials are beginning to fade.  Individual flowers last only one day, but since each plant produces many buds, the total blooming time of a well-established clump may last more than a month; attracts butterflies. Use this daylily for color in shrub borders and in perennial beds.  Once established, the daylily can be an excellent groundcover on slopes because it has roots that hold soil against erosion.  ‘Blueberry Candy’ also makes a beautiful floral arrangement.
