Spiraea - Limemound
Spiraea - Limemound, Spiraea bumalda 'Limemound', is a low spreading plant with bright lemon-yellow foliage that matures to lime green on a dense, compact mounding form. The sharply toothed leaves are lime green, lance-shaped, to 5 inches long.  In the fall the foliage changes to an orange-red color with red stems.   This deciduous plant is good as a filler when used with other green-leafed plants, or is a great plant for massing. Producing showy pink flat flower clusters all summer, Limemound takes little maintenance and is easy to grow.  Prune in late winter or early spring, if needed. Limemound prefers average, medium, well-drained soil in full sun.  It tolerates a wide range of soils. Remove faded flower clusters to promote additional bloom. Use Lime Mound as a ground cover, in the perennial border, or over low walls or embankments. * Fall color * Ground cover

Quince - Spreading - DetailsQuince - Spreading - Sale Price: $57.05
Quince - Spreading, Chaenomeles japonica, is an adaptable, easy to grow deciduous thornless shrub that does best in full sun. Also referred to as the Japanese Flowering Quince, this shrub is tolerant of dry soils, and periodic pruning improves bloom. This sprawling plant has crowded gnarled branches and a low crooked habit. Old canes and suckers can be removed every year. The Spreading Quince needs ample room to ramble, so make sure other plants are not nearby that will be affected by its spreading habit. It has dark green foliage and pink to white flowers that appear in late spring or early summer. The leaves are untoothed, dark green above, and pale with a dense felt of grey wool beneath (especially when young). They turn a rich yellow in autumn. The fruits are light golden-yellow, green or orange, usually pear shaped, but sometimes round and apple-shaped. A quince is delicious stewed, baked, made into fruit butter and should not be eaten raw-- almost anything that can be done with apples can be done with quinces!

Pussy Willow - DetailsPussy Willow - Sale Price: $64.20
Ornamental Shrub with Unique Features  A Pussy Willow is a deciduous shrub with ornamental appeal. One would look great just about anywhere in your yard. If you’ve ever held a cat’s paw and felt the cushy pads on her feet, you’ll understand how this ornamental shrub got its name. One-inch catkins form on the bare stems in late winter/early spring, turning into the light-grey, silky pads that the shrub is known for. They’re bewitching with their fuzzy appearance and soft grey hue. You won’t be able to resist touching the soft pads or cutting a few branches to bring indoors. They’re long-lasting, beautiful and unique. Pussy Willows usually grow as a 6-20 foot high, multi-stemmed shrub. Oblong, green foliage will fill out your shrub, giving it a pleasing appearance even after the fuzzy enchantment of the “cat’s paws” has passed. There are many birds and other animals for which the Pussy Willow is a valuable food source. They also provide excellent cover for many creatures. The Pussy Willow will be a valuable ornamental shrub and adorable conversation piece for your yard. They are a traditional harbinger of spring, and many people even purchase the stems from floral shops to brighten their homes.
