Peony - President Roosevelt - Sale Price: $71.35 Peony President Roosevelt, Paeonia lactiflora 'President Roosevelt', is a favorite for a mid spring display and boasts brilliant double red and striking very large semi-rose flowers. Its pronounced yellow stamens add a nice contrast. The flowers have good stems, are richly fragrant, and make great cut flowers. Peony President Roosevelt seldom needs to be divided or moved, but if it is needed, it should be done in the fall. Trim off old stems to the ground in late fall too, to help prevent disease problems. Juniper - Calgary Carpet - Sale Price: $92.75 Juniper - Calgary Carpet, Juniperus sabina 'Monna', is a great plant to use when you need a lower growing evergreen, but don't like the prickers that one tends to associate with Junipers. Bright green in color and soft textured, the foliage of the Calgary Carpet has a scale-like appearance and is soft to the touch. The layered branching habit of this plant gives the subtle appearance of soft undulations in the ground beneath it. Calgary Carpet would serve nicely in a small Zen garden, with it's ability to suggest a forest of undulating green. This juniper does well in dry soils that are well drained, and needs to have partial to full sun exposure. It's mature height rarely exceeds 9 but can spread to 10' wide or more.

Liriope - Silver Dragon - Sale Price: $56.95 The Liriope 'Silver Dragon', Liriope spicata 'Silver dragon', is an attractive evergreen perennial that grows 10 to 12 inches tall; has dark green, grass-like leaves that are vertically striped with white vertical striping. 'Silver Dragon' is easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade.  Divide clumps every 2 to 3 years in early spring; prune in winter.
