Tiarella - Mystic Mist Foam Flower Tiarella Mystic Mist, Tiarella 'Mystic Mist' PPAF, will give your shade garden great visual interest. This colorful, variegated plant has a fast growing clumping habit. Tiarella 'Mystic Mist' PPAF has bright green leaves that have white speckles and red veins. In the spring, spires of fragrant, white foam flowers form above the foliage and in the fall the plant acquires attractive pink tones. To create a more neat appearing plant, remove the old foliage before new leaves emerge. The plant clumps can be divided every 2 or 3 years in the spring. ‘Mystic Mist’ will do best in full shade and needs average to moist soil. The flowers bloom from June through September. With silvery foliage, it is beautiful when planted in front of dark foliaged perennials or mixed with blue flowers.
