Clematis - Prince Charles - Sale Price: $42.75 Clematis Prince Charles, Clematis 'Prince Charles', has incredible flower power! The compact plants bloom profusely for a long time from July through September.  The 4 mauve-blue semi-nodding flowers are deeply ribbed with a slight twisting habit; contrasting yellow anthers. Ideal for a container plant, it is called the poor man's 'Perle d'Azur' because it is a similar blue, but more compact.  It is much more manageable than some of the sprawling varieties. Clematis 'Prince Charles' needs a supporting structure to grow properly but will also grow over large shrubs, over walls, cover stumps, and make perfect cover ups for unsightly service areas. 'Pumila' is a dwarf pampas grass with huge 18 inch feathery white plumes. The showy, silvery-cream plumes feel silky to the touch and are perfect for use in dried arrangements.  Cortaderia 'Pumila' is a very good grower and much more cold hardy than the species. 'Pumila' thrives in hot, full sun exposures and is especially useful as a specimen along walls and in corners. Plant it in moderately fertile soil with good drainage. Leave standing over the winter before cutting it back hard in early-spring. 'Pumila' is sterile and won’t re-seed itself. Protect crowns of young plants in winter. After this plant is established it can be divided in the spring. Use this plant as a border, mass plantings, dried flowers, for edging, and as a specimen. Beautiful and it is deer resistant!

Hosta - Climax - Sale Price: $42.75 The Hosta Climax, Hosta 'Climax', is a large sport of Hosta 'High Noon' with round leaves that are moderately corrugated.  The color of the leaves is a striking medium green and is trimmed with golden yellow margins. Climax presents a more upright habit and a beautiful vase shape with light lavender flowers.  Holding its color until late fall, its tall flower scapes, and broad, variegated leaves fill a niche in garden design that few other plants can achieve! ‘Climax’ is a low care perennial that is ideal for shady areas. This hosta grows best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots. Daylily - Super Honor - Sale Price: $54.95 Hemerocallis Super Honor, Hemerocallis 'Super Honor', has a robust fragrance and symmetrical flower with frilly ruffled petals. The large 6 purple flowers appear in late July above slender but strong scapes. ‘Super Honor’ flowers open flat to reveal a large lemon-lime throat surrounded by a darker purple band on the petals; petals also display darker purple veining. This very dramatic daylily has an exemplary plant habit and can stand the heat of summer; opens well under varying weather conditions which can occur in summer! Individual flowers last only one day, but since each plant produces many buds, the total blooming time of a well-established clump may last more than a month; attracts butterflies. Use 'Super Honor' daylily for color in shrub borders and in perennial beds.  Once established, the daylily can be an excellent groundcover on slopes because it has roots that hold soil against erosion.  ‘Super Honors’ also makes a beautiful floral arrangement.
