Dianthus - Firewitch - Sale Price: $35.65 The Dianthus ‘Firewitch’, Dianthus gratianopolitanus, is a beautiful pink flower that can be somewhat lacy and fringed.  With its grassy blue-gray foliage and profuse blooming time, ‘Firewitch’ is one not to miss! Dianthus ‘Firewitch’ has a plant spread of 6-8” and a height of 6”. This dianthus will bloom from midsummer to early fall. Hosta - Celestial - Sale Price: $42.75 Hosta Celestial, Hosta 'Celestial', is a large plant that has deeply corrugated, rounded leaves that measure 12-15 long! 'Celestial' has dark green leaves with a greenish yellow color swept across the margins, and then brightens to a creamy white in the summer. In midsummer, pale lavender flowers are produced on 33” to 36” scapes.  This new variety is considered by some hosta experts to be an improvement over ‘Northern Halo' and other white edged sieboldiana types.  This cream-edged, low care perennial is ideal for shady positions.  It is most at home in shady, woodland settings and often works well as specimen or edging plant. 'Celestial' needs high-filtered or dappled sunlight for clean, healthy growth.  Morning sun is tolerable and will help to intensify the leaf colors, but hot afternoon sun is usually deadly to hostas! Yarrow - Paprika - Sale Price: $64.25 The Yarrow ‘Paprika’, Achillea millefolium, is an upright gold centered, fading to light pink & creamy yellow, Yarrow that blooms from June through September. With fern-like aromatic silvery to gray-green foliage, it is considered to be one of the best yarrows in any landscape. The foliage has a somewhat strong, spicy aroma, which persists when used in dried arrangements. The flower heads are 3-4” wide, with a spread of 18-24” and a height of 24”. This Yarrow does well in average garden soils, but prefers lean, dry to medium wet, well-drained soil. (Avoid heavy clays and moist, rich, fertile soils.) Ajuga - Burgundy Glow - Sale Price: $42.75 The Ajuga ‘Burgundy Glow’, Ajuga reptans, is a useful ground cover with short spikes of blue flowers. This Ajuga is one of the most popular, forming striking mounds of leaves dappled in green, pink and cream. During the wintertime, Ajuga ‘Burgundy Glow’ develops rich bronze and burgundy tones. The flowers appear in late spring on 6” spikes with a plant spread of 12-18”. ‘Burgundy Glow’ should be planted 6-9” apart for a beautiful ground cover. Ajuga ‘Burgundy Glow’ will do best in a shaded area but will adapt to morning sun. (The foliage colors will be more vivid with morning sun.) It prefers moist soil with a good drainage but will tolerate moderately dry areas. Do avoid soggy conditions. This Ajuga looks great in rock gardens, as a border plants, in mass plantings and is great for preventing erosion. It is relatively carefree; however, it can be invasive. Butterflies and hummingbirds are definitely attracted to Ajuga, not to mention being deer resistant and a low allergen.
