Daylily - Chicago Sunrise - Sale Price: $49.95 The Chicago Sunrise Daylily, Hemerocallis 'Chicago Sunrise', is a heavy blooming tetraploid with brightly colored star-like flowers, each opening for one day. This long flowering, repeat bloomer is a golden jewel that jumps out at you from the garden! Use for cut flowers, massing, edging, borders or in mixed containers and tubs. 'Chicago Sunrise' Daylily is a heavy feeder and likes a high nitrogen fertilizer. It is best to use a slow release fertilizer in the early spring when new growth first appears. Flower stems can be removed after blooming to encourage additional blooms. Vegetation can be cleaned up and discarded in late fall or early spring. Can be divided most any time of year and division is usually needed every 3-4 years for best performance.

Grass - Pumila Dwarf Pampas - Sale Price: $64.25 Pumila Dwarf Pampas Grass, Cortaderia selloana 'Pumila', is probably one of the most impressive perennials we grow! 'Pumila' is a dwarf pampas grass with huge 18 inch feathery white plumes. The showy, silvery-cream plumes feel silky to the touch and are perfect for use in dried arrangements.  Cortaderia 'Pumila' is a very good grower and much more cold hardy than the species. 'Pumila' thrives in hot, full sun exposures and is especially useful as a specimen along walls and in corners. Plant it in moderately fertile soil with good drainage. Leave standing over the winter before cutting it back hard in early-spring. 'Pumila' is sterile and won’t re-seed itself. Protect crowns of young plants in winter. After this plant is established it can be divided in the spring. Use this plant as a border, mass plantings, dried flowers, for edging, and as a specimen. Beautiful and it is deer resistant!

Hosta - Pineapple Punch - Sale Price: $42.75 The Hosta Pineapple Punch, Hosta 'Pineapple Punch', has narrow, rippling, extremely ruffled, lance-shaped leaves that start off creamy yellow, and then turn white.  A lovely sport of Pineapple Upsidedown Cake, Pineapple Punch is medium sized with an arching mound. It displays light lavender blossoms on tall flower scapes in late summer.   Since 'Pineapple Punch' is an excellent grower, spreading from underground rhizomes, it makes an outstanding border plant or groundcover! Hostas grow best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots.  It is best to keep areas around hostas clear of excess leaf debris to reduce the presence of slugs and snails.  Plant 'Pineapple Punch' in an area that receives the right amount of light.  The leaves need some morning sun to bring out the best coloration; too much sun will burn the leaves.  It is most at home in shady, woodland settings and often works well as specimen or edging plants.
