Hosta - Halcyon - Sale Price: $56.95 Gardeners are always looking for two things: 1) shade plants and 2) blue plants. The Halcyon Hosta is made for the shade and is the most interesting frosty ocean-blue color, earning it the 1997 Award of Merit (AGM). It’s a vigorous (but slower) grower with ribbed, spear-shaped foliage that sits underneath white-to-lavender bell-shaped flowers from July to August — but the real show is the foliage itself. Slug-resistant, attracts hummingbirds during blooming. Halycon Hosta grows in the familiar “fountain” mound shape to about 2’ tall and wide, and prefers full shade in a moist but well-drained spot. Also known as funkia or plantain lily, Hosta Halcyon is a reliable winner that requires little attention. Spectacular when planted in shade borders, around large shade trees and even in large containers. One of the best hostas available. Zones 4-8.

Grass - Little Bunny Fountain Grass - Sale Price: $42.75 The Ornamental Grass, Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Little Bunny', is an extremely adaptable grass with a low level of maintenance care. This miniature Fountain Grass is ideal for rock gardens or anywhere you need to provide color. With a plant height of 8-10 and a spread of 12-24, it is one of the smallest in its family. 'Little Bunny' should be planted in full sun to part shade and needs medium to wet moisture. The plumes on 'Little Bunny' will appear from August to October, appearing whitish green. The foliage will change  red to burgundy color in the fall. It is very suitable for border fronts, and the plumes can be used in fresh and dried flower arrangements. False Indigo - Purple Smoke - Sale Price: $42.75 False Indigo Purple Smoke, Baptisia x hybrida 'Purple Smoke', is a seedling of Baptisia australis and Baptisia alba which resulted in a spectacular plant with charcoal-green stems and dozens of giant lupine-like flower heads of dusty purple. 'Purple Smoke' is a vigorous grower that becomes more impressive every year as it matures! It is a good, vigorous grower, extremely long lived, and destined to become a favorite in the garden.  The Baptisia looks attractive by itself, against walls and fences, or combined in a border with other June bloomers.   Full sun is best for the most successful flowering and performance.  It grows well in average to dry soil but adapts to most conditions.  It is deer resistant. ‘Purple Smoke’ has a very deep tap root, giving it the ability to survive long dry periods and making it a challenge to move once it is established.  Move in the early spring if you must. Fern - Lady - Sale Price: $39.95 The Lady Fern, 'Athyrium filixfemina', is a lovely, deciduous fern that is bright yellow-green with wide, deep cut or lacy leaves that are tapered at the end.  It is a real favorite that reaches a height of 2-3'! Yarrow - Saucy Seduction - Sale Price: $42.75 The Yarrow Saucy Seduction, Achillea millefolium 'Saucy Seduction' PPAF, is part of the Seduction series. This line is known for sturdy, compact growth, long bloom periods, and interesting flowers. 'Saucy Seduction' PPAF produces clusters of rich rose-pink flowers, each with a tiny white eye, and subtle white shading from June into August. Rich green foliage with silvery highlights forms dense upright columns. 'Saucy Seduction' PPAF proves to be an excellent garden performer, along with being drought and heat tolerant. Achilles is great for cut bouquets and they can also be used as a dried flower. Yarrow can tolerate poor soil conditions, but does best in lean, dry to medium wet, well-drained soil. They are adaptable to almost any soil with adequate drainage. Deadheading enhances appearance and encourages rebloom. Allow to dry between watering’s.
