Clematis - Galore
Clematis - Galore Clematis Galore, Clematis 'Galore', is a newly developed clematis and part of The Festoon Collection. This new Evison/Poulsen clematis is extremely free flowering from July through September. Bred for excellent disease resistance, this spectacular new cultivar produces countless 3 flowers that are bright purple with yellow anthers. Clematis 'Galore' needs a supporting structure to grow properly but will also grow over large shrubs, over walls, cover stumps, and make perfect cover ups for unsightly service areas. Clematis is easy to grow in a rich, porous, alkaline soil with plenty of room for the roots to spread. Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded, so apply generous mulch or a shallow-rooted ground cover near the base of the vine. Groom this plant after first flowering by cutting back the top one-third to one-half of some stems. Clematis ‘Galore’ is a very reliable performer once established; it takes a season or two to get going! The beautiful blooms will absolutely cover this highly adaptable plant! * Reliable * Free flowering * Disease resistant

'Deja Blu' needs high-filtered or dappled sunlight which is necessary for clean, healthy growth. Morning sun is tolerable and will help to intensify the leaf colors, but hot afternoon sun is usually deadly to hostas!
