Coneflower - Irresistible
Coneflower - Irresistible Echinacea Irresistible (Coneflower), Echinacea 'Irresistible', is a coneflower that is simply irresistible with its 3½ blossoms that emerge pastel yellow with a large copper cone.  It then quickly develops into double coral pink flowers with a slightly deeper pink pom-pom. As this Echinacea matures, the changing pattern of colors continues to peachy pink ray petals and lighter pom-pom centers of citron yellow.  ‘Irresistible’ should be planted in masses for an outstanding touch of “peachy” beauty in your yard! The huge, intense flowers are supported on strong stems.  These long lasting flowers attract butterflies and hummingbirds and are great in cut flower arrangements!  Providing large 3 blooms, ‘Irresistible’ should be planted in masses for an outstanding touch of beauty in your yard! Divide clumps when they become overcrowded (about every 4 years).  ‘Irresistible’ usually reblooms without deadheading, but if spent flowers are removed, this procedure will encourage continued beautiful blooms and improves general appearance. Highly fragrant, this coneflower keeps coming all summer on tall plants with excellent branching.  This plant is deer resistant. If you leave some spent blooms on the plants in fall their seeds provide winter food for birds.  You can enjoy the dried seed heads as well, because they will provide architectural interest in the winter. ‘Irresistible’ is a one of a kind double coneflower that provides a change of colors. You can’t beat the intensity of the colors, which will bring a brilliant display to a sunny location! * Fragrant * Hardy * Long lasting blooms
