Echinacea Secret Romance (Coneflower), Echinacea 'Secret Romance', provides large, delightful, salmon pink double flowers. It is a sturdy, well branched, compact, plant, and one plant can create bouquets of flowers! The flower begins with a bright pink color, and then fades with age to a pleasant salmon color. It is a long lasting flower that attracts butterflies and hummingbirds and is great in cut flower arrangements! The bright, intense flowers of ‘Secret Romance’ are supported on strong stems; best if grouped or massed. This Echinacea will present a season full of daisy-like flowers and is praised for its prolonged blooming after other perennials have faded. Divide clumps when they become overcrowded (about every 4 years.  ‘Secret Romance’ usually reblooms without deadheading, but if spent flowers are removed, this procedure will encourage continued beautiful blooms and improves general appearance. Highly fragrant, this coneflower keeps coming all summer on tall plants with excellent branching.  This plant is deer resistant. If you leave some spent blooms on the plants in fall their seeds provide winter food for birds.  You can enjoy the dried seed heads as well, because they will provide architectural interest in the winter. The Hibiscus 'Cecelia', Hibiscus rosa-sinensis 'Cecelia' (also called China rose and common hibiscus), produces a profusion of large, showy red double flowers, set against a background of dark green foliage.
