Coreopsis - Sunny Day
Coreopsis - Sunny Day, Coreopsis grandiflora 'Sunny Day', begins to bloom in late spring and continues to bloom throughout the summer.  This North American native provides an abundance of large, single yellow flowers on compact plants! This coreopsis is not picky about its soil, as long as it’s well-drained.  Keep deadheaded for best flowering.  As with many perennials this plant will benefit from being divided and reset in the fall every one to two years.   Shear back plants after the first wave of flowering to promote reblooming.  Remove old foliage after frost or before new growth in spring. ‘Sunny Day’ is a splendid plant for cheery cut flower arrangements, beds, borders, and containers. Since it thrives in poor soil and has low water needs, ‘Sunny Day’ will easily add beauty and sunshine to any trouble spot in your garden! * Easy to grow * Long blooming * Brilliant color
