  Crabapple - Golden Raindrops Crabapple - Golden Raindrops, Malus 'Golden Raindrops', is finely textured and has a different appearance than many other crabapple trees.  This attractive tree has deeply cut foliage that gives this unusual ‘Golden Raindrops’ a delicate appearance.  Its elegant form is created with slender limbs spreading horizontally from upright branches.  In the spring white star-like flowers with bright yellow centers appear in profusion.   ‘Golden Raindrops’ has a low canopy with a typical clearance of 3 feet from the ground.   It thrives in full sun and prefers average to moist conditions, and shouldn't be allowed to dry out.  Under  ideal conditions, this tree can be expected to live for 40 years or more!
