False Cypress - Verdoni False Cypress - Verdoni, is a dependable, compact and upright, conical shaped evergreen tree. Each Verdoni has a naturally irregular and undulating habit with a softly drooping leader; somewhat contorted. It has clean bright and rich yellow-green cupped foliage; new foliage and stems display hints of orange; does not develop any appreciable fall color. The Hinoki False Cypress Verdoni makes a stunning specimen in the rock garden but can be pruned and kept quite small. This cypress requires moist well-drained soil.
