Grass - Bowles Golden Sedge
Bowles Golden Sedge Grass, Carex elata 'Bowles Golden', has dazzling bright gold foliage with narrow green margins that make Carex 'Bowles Golden' really stand out in the garden. The attractive arching habit and its bright foliage color make a great companion plant for Heucheras. This variety thrives in consistently moist soils, and it can also be grown in shallow water at the edge of a garden pond. The more sun, the more color you get in the foliage! It is an excellent choice as a highlight plant for a shade or water garden. Since Carex Bowles Golden is a moisture loving grass, and will grow in shallow water, it looks great around a pond with blue hostas. In northern climates, it should be kept from winter winds and provided with some protection such as snow or straw. If plants look tattered in early spring, cut them back to the ground. The new foliage will quickly fill back in. Add color to your landscape!

Hemerocallis Elegant Explosion, Hemerocallis 'Elegant Explosion', is a reblooming plant that bursts forth with an intense orange gold color.  The display is magnificent! In areas that receive less than 6 hours of sun during the day, your daylilies will probably produce fewer and smaller blooms, and the foliage may not be as robust. The Trumpet Creeper, Campsis radicans 'flamenco', is a rapid growing, clinging vine that produces bright red orange trumpet shaped flowers that can get 3 inches long. Blooming in the summer months, it attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Also known as the Trumpet Vine, it is a tough vine for hot and dry sites. The abundant sprays of trumpet-shaped red orange flowers cover this deciduous vine for an extra long bloom season. Trumpet Creepers are often grown with multiple trunks. This vine is a woody climber that grows up to 30 feet tall with the main stem getting about seven inches wide. This plant flowers best in a full sun location. The rapid growth makes it an excellent plant for covering fences or arbors; clinging vines attach themselves to structures and climbs by aerial rootlets.
