Grass - Golden Variegated Sweet Flag
The Grass 'Golden Variegated Sweet Flag', Acorus gramineus Ogon, is a mounded, non-invasive rhizome grass. It is great for containers, edging or as a groundcover. The fragrant, butter yellow sword-like blades (resembles iris leaves) create a striking contrast. The rich golden yellow foliage grows to 10 inches high, with a 1 foot spread. Golden Variegated Sweet Flag has a typical philodendron flower that can be used fresh or dried. It grows well in pots, ponds, as an edging or groundcover and even grows indoors. It doesn’t like to dry out but can handle sun or shade. This plant grows fast and is deer resistant! For a neat appearance, remove the old foliage in the spring before new growth appears. * Container plant * Deer resistant * Variegated

Astilbe - Fanal - DetailsAstilbe - Fanal - Sale Price: $49.95
The Astilbe ‘Fanal’, Astilbe arendsii, is a colorful feathery flower with deep red blooms and lacy deep green or bronze-green foliage. The foliage in spring is mahogany, but as autumn approaches, the blooms turn to shades of brown that look wonderful in winter snowscapes. The flowers contrast wonderfully with the dark green glossy foliage.  Astilbe ‘Fanal’ blooms in midsummer and is 24” tall and a plant width of 18-24”.  Do not allow Astilbe ‘Fanal’ to dry out. 'Fanal' is most successfully grown in a shady area but can tolerate some morning sun.  A moist, well-drained area is a key factor for growing a healthy plant. In order to keep Astilbe looking good for the next year, do not cut it back in the winter, (the old foliage helps protect the plant from winter damage), but prune in early spring. Astilbe is considered to be deer resistant and will attract hummingbirds.  Use ‘Fanal’ Astilbe as beautiful cut flowers for a grand bouquet!   Plant it in perennial borders or shade gardens with hosta’s and ferns. You will be pleased with the results! * Lacy foliage * Easy to grow * Fall and winter color

Coreopsis - Big Bangâ„¢ - DetailsCoreopsis - Big Bangâ„¢ - Sale Price: $42.75
Coreopsis Big Bang™, Coreopsis 'Redshift' PP20,412 Big Bang™ Series, is a clump-forming variety that produces large 2 inch diameter creamy yellow flowers. Coreopsis 'Redshift' PP20,412 adds a pop of color with a ring of red that encircles the gold button-like centers. In the cool fall, new blooms bring an unexpected shift in color that varies from pale yellow with red streaking through the petals to a solid red. 'Redshift' Coreopsis is easy to place, requiring only a sunny spot with average garden soil. It is a very heavy bloomer and cuts well. Give this plant a hard shearing to promote rebloom. Blooms June to July with some blooming until fall. Plant 'Redshift' into well-drained, lean, non-clay soils, and mix it with red or orange flowers for an outrageous display of floral fireworks. Tickseed is used for accent plants, border plants, mass plantings, patio containers and cut flowers.

Daylily - Ruby Stella - DetailsDaylily - Ruby Stella - Sale Price: $49.95
The Daylily 'Ruby Stella', Hemerocallis 'Ruby Stella', is a durable perennial with grass-like leaves that produces showy clusters of deep wine-red lily-like fragrant blooms on tall stems. The flowers appear in late spring to early summer and continue until frost.  ‘Ruby Stella’ is in its full glory by July! Unlike most daylilies, it reblooms throughout summer, with sufficient reliability that it is categorized as ever-blooming.  It grows 14-18 inches tall and 18-24 wide. Even though drought tolerant, ‘Ruby Stella’ blooms much better with regular watering.  Plant in drifts for maximum effect! The mounding strap-like foliage adds a textural element to the garden when not in bloom.  Deer resistant. Individual flowers last only one day, but since each plant produces many buds, the total blooming time of a well-established clump may last more than a month.  Use this daylily for color in shrub borders and in perennial beds; attracts butterflies. Once established, the daylily can be an excellent groundcover on slopes because it has roots that hold soil against erosion.  Divide every 3-5 years, or when the number of flower buds and the size of bloom begin to decline.  This ravishing beauty is a proven top perennial performer! * Compact habit * Ever blooming * Durable

This daisy should be grown in full sun, but can tolerate some afternoon shade, in well-drained soil.  It will not tolerate excessive moisture or wet soil in the winter. Water ‘Becky Daisy’ plants weekly when rainfall is less than an inch, and remove faded flower heads to encourage more blooms. Combine ‘Becky Daisy’ with Veronica “Royal Candles”, Perovskia ‘Russian Sage’ or Scabiosa “Butterfly Blue”.  It also is great for formal and informal gardens, as cut flowers, in mass plantings or in the perennial border. The foliage has a somewhat strong, spicy aroma, which persists when used in dried arrangements. The flower heads are 3-4” wide, with a spread of 18-24” and a height of 24”. This Yarrow does well in average garden soils, but prefers lean, dry to medium wet, well-drained soil. (Avoid heavy clays and moist, rich, fertile soils.)
