Juniper - Calgary Carpet - Sale Price: $92.75 Juniper - Calgary Carpet, Juniperus sabina 'Monna', is a great plant to use when you need a lower growing evergreen, but don't like the prickers that one tends to associate with Junipers. Bright green in color and soft textured, the foliage of the Calgary Carpet has a scale-like appearance and is soft to the touch. The layered branching habit of this plant gives the subtle appearance of soft undulations in the ground beneath it. Calgary Carpet would serve nicely in a small Zen garden, with it's ability to suggest a forest of undulating green. This juniper does well in dry soils that are well drained, and needs to have partial to full sun exposure. It's mature height rarely exceeds 9 but can spread to 10' wide or more.

The outer tepals are reddish pink, fading to pale pink at the edges, the inner tepals are palest pink with a narrow deep pink stripe.  The stamens are creamy-white. The double flowers are on the old wood in May and June followed by single flowers on the new growth in September. Ligularia - Brit Marie - Sale Price: $42.75 The Ligularia Brit Marie Crawford, Ligularia dentate ‘Brit Marie’, is a wonderful yellow-orange, daisy-like flower with huge glossy maroon foliage that remains dark for most of the season.  (This plant was first discovered by Britt-Marie Crawford in Fife, Scotland.) ‘Brit Marie’ is a clump-forming herbaceous perennial that is grown not only for its showy purple-black leaves, but also for its summer display of bold daisy-like orange-yellow flowers! The foliage can be rounding, kidney-shaped, or triangular with a wavy margin.  The flowers appear on tall spikes and bloom from July to August.   ‘Brit Marie’ has a plant height of 3-4’ and a spread of 36-48”.
