Clematis - Bourbon - Sale Price: $42.75 Clematis Bourbon, Clematis 'Bourbon™', is a new and exciting compact clematis from Raymond J. Evison.  Evison specifically hybridized this prized variety for patio containers! Its compact growth reaches only 3-4 feet tall, which makes it a perfect fit for large patio pots.  'Clematis Bourbon' is equally happy, though, when grown in the ground and allowed to scramble up a small trellis. The large 6 inch flowers are red with bright purple bars in the center of each petal. Flowers rebloom throughout the summer for an incredible display! Clematis 'Bourbon™' needs a supporting structure to grow properly but will also grow over large shrubs, over walls, cover stumps, and make perfect cover ups for unsightly service areas. Clematis is easy to grow in a rich, porous, alkaline soil with plenty of room for the roots to spread. Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded, so apply generous mulch or a shallow-rooted ground cover near the base of the vine. Groom this plant after first flowering by cutting back the top one-third to one-half of some stems. Each arching  stem is weighed down by the profuse blooms it carries.  The fragrant bell shaped flowers are followed by glossy red berries.  Plant in a garden with good air circulation to prevent fungal spots on the petals. 'Purple Smoke' is a vigorous grower that becomes more impressive every year as it matures! Liriope - Variegated - Sale Price: $56.95 The Liriope 'Variegated', Liriope muscari 'Variegata', is by far one of the most popular liriope.  It is also known as Liriope variegated lily-turf, so is, as its name implies, a variegated border grass! Ligularia - Osiris Cafe Noir - Sale Price: $42.75 Ligularia Osiris Café Noir, Ligularia dentata 'Osiris Café Noir', emerges in the spring with deep purple-black foliage, morphs to shades of bronze, and then matures to an olive green. ‘Osiris Café Noir’ has thick, leathery leaves with serrated edges.
