Juniper - Gold Lace
The Juniper 'Gold Lace' PP8202, Juniperus chinensis pfitzeriana 'Gold Lace', is a new golden Pfitzer Juniper that is probably the most golden of all. It has a compact habit that does not grow out-of-bounds. The golden tones reach the center of the plant resulting in less green color. The gold color intensifies in fall and winter. You cannot find a better color and contrast! This is an absolutely stunning juniper with its dark forest green foliage and showing a vibrant yellow color at the tips of its branches. The golden yellow coloration is best displayed in full sun locations, and will tone down considerably during the winter months. 'Gold Lace' is very hardy and has a moderate to fast growth. Pruning prior to bud break in spring or shortly after the hardening off of new growth is best. Gold Lace is an excellent choice to use as contrast to dark evergreen plant.
