Honeysuckle - Claveys Dwarf - Sale Price: $54.25 Clavey’s Dwarf Honeysuckle, Lonicera xylosteum 'Claveyi', is a compact, finely branched, dwarf Honeysuckle that has clean gray-green foliage and can be sheared to form a dense hedge. The yellow flowers in May are followed by red berries in autumn. It is a useful and easy-to-grow plant and likes average, well-drained soil. Once established, the plant is drought tolerant and grows 6-8 feet tall and has a 5-6 foot spread. This plant appears to be quite salt tolerant. Honeysuckles are easy to grow, vigorous, heat-tolerant, and nearly indestructible. The flashy and fragrant flowers will attract hummingbirds and butterflies all summer long. Many honeysuckles will thrive in containers as well. Clavey’s Dwarf produces blue/gray-green foliage all season long. It is best pruned in late winter. This plant tolerates urban conditions well and it is not fussy about soil types. Zones 3-7.

Barberry - Concorde - Sale Price: $32.95 Commonly known as Japanese Barberry, this compact little shrub’s burgundy-colored foliage is a dramatic —and welcome— contrast in a landscape dominated by green everything-else. ‘Concorde’ has very small teardrop-shaped leaves on thorny branches which form an orderly round plant that tops out at not much more than a couple of feet. Small, dark green leaves seems to hold good green color much better than most boxwoods through the winter months. It requires cool, moist soil conditions, and it maintains its shape with very little pruning. Fertilization is recommended in the spring and soil should be kept moist, but not wet, especially during the growing season. Full sun produces best growth for Green Mountain, but it can tolerate partial shade. It flowers in spring, but it is grown for its handsome foliage. Use as hedging or topiary, or in a border. Rhododendron - Korean - Sale Price: $106.95 Rhododendron - Korean, Rhododendron mucronulatum, is a shrub that is native to northern China, Korea, and Japan and develops an upright, rounded or oval habit. In mid spring, Korean Rhododendron produces stunning rosy purple flowers that are showy and widely funnel-shaped. This plant comes into bloom during the first warm spring weather, and the flowers open successively from clusters of buds at the end of the shoots before the leaves expand. The leaves are deciduous (shed in autumn), but they turn yellow and bronze before falling. This rhododendron requires partial to full shade and moist, well-drained soil; does best in acidic soil. Use the Korean Rhododendron for shrub borders, groupings, or mix with evergreens.
