The Summersweet Sugartina PPAF, 'Clethra alnifolia 'Crystaltina', produces dark green foliage that perfectly frames the pure white, very fragrant flower spikes of this dwarf Summersweet. This sweet and pristine dwarf shrub is a “must have”!  It produces tight, dense, dark glossy foliage that transforms to a warm yellow color in the fall. The flowering begins in the summer and will last for 4 to 6 weeks. It performs best in full sun to partial shade. Sugartina is a great low maintenance landscape plant growing to 28-30 inches tall, and it becomes a butterfly favorite.  Use as a specimen, but for a more dramatic effect, group in large mass plantings. This plant also makes an excellent short hedge or border.  Enjoy the great fragrance of this plant on a summer evening in the garden! * Fragrant * Fall color * Low maintenance
