Tiarella - Neon Lights Foam Flower
The Tiarella Neon Lights, 'Tiarella hybrid', PPAF, also known as Foamflower, is becoming one of the most popular shade perennials on the market today. ‘Neon Lights’ has deeply cut fuzzy green foliage. The highlights of black and purple patterns make it what it is. Best of all, the coloration is more intense during the winter months, not to mention being lightly fragrant. White flowers appear in the summer; however, Tiarella’s are not especially noted for their flowers. ‘Neon Lights’ has a plant height of 6-8” and a plant spread of 12-15”. Tiarella will do best in full shade and need average to moist soil. To create a more neat appearing plant, remove the old foliage before new leaves emerge. The plant clumps can be divided every 2 or 3 years in the spring. Try planting this popular perennial with Lamium ‘White Nancy’, Hosta ‘Patriot’ or ‘Japanese Painted Fern’ for color contrast. Neon Lights can be planted as a ground cover or mingled with other shade loving plants. It is also used in borders, as a cut flower, and massed. * Deer and rabbit resistant * Evergreen in warmer climates * Great in container plantings

Daylily - Chicago Orchid - DetailsDaylily - Chicago Orchid - Sale Price: $49.95
The Daylily 'Chicago Orchid', Hemerocallis 'Chicago Orchid', is a favorite summer blooming perennial with large clumps of long grass-like leaves with showy clusters of orchid lily-like flowers on tall stems. A midseason bloomer, this 'Chicago Orchid' plant produces several flower stalks with up to a dozen buds.  The buds open in series, but a flower lasts only a day, giving the plant its common name, Daylily! Daylilies grow vigorously, help suppress weeds, and are generally free from pests and disease.  They thrive in full sun or light shade and tolerate many types of soil.  In areas that receive less than 6 hours of sun during the day, your daylilies will probably produce fewer and smaller blooms, and the foliage may not be as robust. Divide every 3-5 years, or when the number of flower buds and the size of bloom begin to decline.   Planted together in large numbers, they quickly crowd out weeds and make a carefree and colorful ground cover.   Because it blooms all summer, has gorgeous color, and an attractive, clumping foliage, ‘Chicago Orchid’ is a pleasure to have in any garden! * Showy clusters of flowers * Clumping habit * Favorite

Dwarf Pampas Grass - Jet Streams - DetailsDwarf Pampas Grass - Jet Streams - Sale Price: $64.25
The Dwarf Pampas Grass Jet Streams, Cortaderia selloana pumila 'Jet Streams', is a compact ornamental grass that is a great choice for smaller gardens.  This dwarf pampas displays beautiful, 6 foot, ivory plumes in the fall.  These plumes towers over a compact clumping grass. It is best to leave 'Jet Streams' stand over the winter before cutting it back hard in mid-spring.  ‘Jet Stream’ pampas is a very good grower and more cold hardy than the species. Feed plants in early spring and again in early fall with all-purpose fertilizer. The newly planted 'Jet Streams' requires more frequent watering than established landscape plantings, so provide moderately fertile soil with good drainage. Useful as a specimen along walls and in corners, it can thrive in hot, full sun exposures.   The showy, silvery-cream plumes feel silky to the touch and are perfect for use in dried arrangements.  ‘Jet Stream’ is low maintenance and a very impressive perennial in the landscape, even in winter! * Cold hardy * Dwarf * Compact

Grass - Graziella Maiden - DetailsGrass - Graziella Maiden - Sale Price: $99.95
The Grass 'Graziella' Maiden, Miscanthus sinensis 'Graziella', is an earlier blooming, more compact maiden grass. It has slender green foliage on clumps with large white blooms in late summer. The fine texture of the leaves set it apart from other garden grasses. 'Graziella' is easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Although it is a versatile ornamental grass, the clumps of this plant need lots of room. This grass is tolerant of a wide range of soils from well-drained sandy soils to the heavy clays. Prune off the dead grass in early before it resumes growing. Blooming earlier than most Miscanthus, tiny white flowers appear in tassel-like inflorescences above the foliage in late summer, gradually turning into silvery white plumes as the seeds mature. Columbine - Blue Barlow - DetailsColumbine - Blue Barlow - Sale Price: $49.95
The Columbine Blue Barlow, 'Aquilegia vulgaris 'Blue Barlow', produces unusual double, dahlia-like blooms that are blue-violet and lack the typical columbine spurs that nod gracefully above compact foliage in late spring. This plant grows to 2 feet tall and wide. Deadheading is recommended to prolong blooming. The wonderful plants perform best when planted in partially shaded areas.  Blue Barlow blooms in late spring to early summer and it can be used as a cut flower.
