Viburnum - Korean Spice The Viburnum 'Korean Spice', Viburnum carlesii, is a small deciduous shrub to 5 feet tall with a rounded form and an upright open branching habit. Clusters of fragrant white flowers open from pink buds in spring. In autumn, the red berries mature to a dark color, teaming with the leaves' fall foliage color for a noteworthy display. This shrub provides food and cover for wildlife. 'Korean Spice' is a deciduous shrub that is ideal for spaces with only three or four feet of planting space.
