Viburnum - Mohican
The Viburnum 'Mohican', Viburnum lantana 'Mohican', is an incredibly tough shrub that is essentially evergreen in warmer climates. The creamy white, flat topped flowers entirely envelop the plant in late April or May. This viburnum has one of the most effective displays of bright, orange-red fruit in early July, lasting a month before turning black in fall. It has dark, hairy leaves that create a dark background to showcase other plants.  It displays a very compact growth habit. Mohican needs regular, weekly watering, or more often in extreme heat. The Mohican makes a nice hedge with the compact shape and heavy, dark green foliage.  The fall color is attractive. * Bright fruit * Fall color

Dwarf Red Buckeye - DetailsDwarf Red Buckeye - Sale Price: $42.95
Magnificent Spring Color in a Hardy Shrub The Dwarf Red Buckeye is a hardy deciduous shrub and one of the first plants to leaf out in the spring.  It looks splendid along a garden path, beside a patio or as an accent plant at the edge of a garden.  It is especially pretty when underplanted with early spring wildflowers. Its large, drooping, dark green leaves provide plenty of interest throughout the growing season. Its scarlet 9 inch panicles of blossoms will herald the approaching summer like no other plant in your yard.  The lavish, carmine blooms are especially attractive to hummingbirds.  Butterflies and other pollinators will be drawn to your garden as well, but deer will leave you alone. You can’t go wrong with this hardy shrub.  Plant it in sun or light shade and leave it alone. Brouwers Beauty is a great choice for an early blooming, hardy, deer resistant evergreen shrub. Its deep green foliage compliments the brilliant red buds that become lovely white blossoms in early spring.
