Veronica - Georgia Blue - Sale Price: $56.95 The Veronica Speedwell, Georgia Blue, 'Veronica peduncularis 'Georgia Blue', is a spreading plant growing to 8 inches tall with spires of tiny, round, blue flowers in late April-May. This evergreen perennial blooms very early in the spring. It may rebloom throughout the summer. The foliage is reddish-green in spring turning to deep green in summer and finally turning bronze in fall. This spreading plant works well under small perennials and in borders, containers, rock gardens and as a groundcover. The flowers are attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. This plant is also salt tolerant so a seaside location would be fine. To keep tidy plants, shear back by 1/2 after flowering. If not cut back in summer, prune down to basal growth in late autumn. This plant makes a beautiful perennial groundcover! And when planted in mass, they are stunning!

Hosta - Patriot - Sale Price: $42.75 The Hosta ‘Patriot’, Hosta fortunei, has heart-shaped, glossy medium green leaves with a large white margin, making this variety very striking! The Hosta flowers bloom from July to August, and it has a plant height of 22” and a spread of 36-48”.   ‘Patriot’ provides bright color in shade with its wonderful foliage. Hosta ‘Patriot’ was the American Hosta Growers’ Hosta of the Year in 1997.  If you have ever seen it, you will know why; it literally brings light to shade! Grass - Red Switch - Sale Price: $64.25 Grass - Red Switch, Panicum virgatum 'Shenandoah', has a more upright form and is the smallest of the Panicum. It is a clump-forming, warm season grass which typically grows in an upright, vertical clump to 3' tall (to 5' when in flower). Its foliage is green, tinged with red during the growing season, then turning bright red in the fall. Nothing comes close to the fall color displayed by this grass, and it retains this color throughout the winter! It will attract birds and is suitable for cut and dried flower arrangements. Red Switch Grass prefers full sun, moist fertile soil, but adapts to a wide range of soil conditions. Red Switch is a warm season grass that likes to grow in warm weather. Before it will show signs of life in the spring, the soil must warm up, and be warm for possibly as long as two weeks. This switch grass can be used very effectively when planted with fall blooming asters. Cut back clumps to the ground in late winter to early spring.
