Grass - Yaku Jima Maiden - Sale Price: $49.95 The Grass 'Yaku Jima' Maiden, Miscanthus sinensis 'Yaku Jima', is compact with fine textured foliage that turns reddish brown in the fall and remains attractive well into winter. The reddish flowers are showy but not quite as fluffy as most. 'Yaku Jima' is a slightly bigger plant than 'Adagio', but the main difference is that its leaves are even narrower, almost needle fine! Being very hardy and low growing, it tolerates a wide range of soil types; moderately drought tolerant; holds up to wind and snow. Use as a specimen, in a container, as a border, along walkways, or by the water's edge. 'Yaku Jima' prefers full sun and moist, well drained soil; a great grass for small gardens.

Clematis - Petit Faucon - Sale Price: $42.75 Clematis Petit Faucon, Clematis 'Petit Faucon', is an extraordinary and unique plant with unusual purple-blue flowers and a compact habit. At first the buds open to twisting petals that have bright orange-yellow stamens.  As they mature, the flowers turn to a rich blue around creamy stamens. Even in a hot, dry summer this plant continues to bloom strong! The fluffy white seed heads are beautiful and the combination of deep violet flowers and silvery seed puffs is stunning!   Petit Faucon is an extremely vigorous, free flowering, and strong growing clematis.  Early flowers appear on the previous season's growth while late summer flowers appear on new growth.  Petit Faucon blooms May-June and August-September. Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded, so apply generous mulch or a shallow-rooted ground cover near the base of the vine. Hibiscus - Lord Baltimore - Sale Price: $106.95 The Hibiscus 'Lord Baltimore', Hibiscus moscheutos, has beautiful red flowers that are a definite eye-catcher.  It has a plant height of 6-8' and a spread of 3-4'.  The brilliant red flowers are 10 in diameter, so 'Lord Baltimore' is a colorful hibiscus that should not be missed! The deep green, lobed leaves make a wonderful contrast.  'Lady Baltimore' prefers moist to wet soil conditions and loves the heat of summer.  It is frequently used as a specimen. It is best to plant this Hibiscus in a full sun to partial shade area, and it will tolerate most soil types.  'Lord Baltimore' looks wonderful with grasses, or as a background plant. It grows well in any fertile, well-drained soil with ample moisture. Do not allow to dry to the wilting point.  Be patient; hibiscus can be slow to emerge in spring; provide regular fertilization during the growing season.  Be careful to not over water until plants show signs of growth!  For best performance, plant before the heat of the summer.
