Astilbe - Visions in Pink
The Astilbe Chinensis Visions in Pink PP#118, 'Astilbe Chinensis', has clear raspberry pink plumes that light up shady garden spaces in the spring. Astilbe is admired for its attractive foliage and elegant flower plumes.  The summer lacy deep green foliage adds a ferny texture to garden beds long after the blooms have faded. The ‘Visions in Pink’ plumes offer a striking contrast against the coarsely textured, blue-green foliage.  These spring blooming beauties are ideal for borders, containers, and gardens on the edge of woodlands. For maximum color and impact, mass astilbe in groups in partly shaded gardens Astilbe needs well drained, but moist and highly organic soil; humusy forest gardens are a perfect example of where these plants will thrive. Drifts of this ‘Visions in Pink’ Astilbe are stunning when paired with other white blooming shade plants like Japanese Orchids or Peonies. * Colorful plumes * Attractive foliage * Easy to grow
