Clematis - Ville De Lyon - Sale Price: $56.45 Clematis Ville De Lyon, Clematis 'Ville De Lyon', is a vigorous free-flowering cultivar that will certainly attract attention to your landscape! The velvety, cherry-red 6 flowers are made up of perfectly formed overlapping petals with deep pink central bars and nicely contrasting yellow anthers. 'Ville De Lyon'reblooms in early autumn.  Since the lower foliage becomes scorched by late summer, it's best grown through an evergreen shrub or tree. It looks beautiful growing through large trees or conifers and can obtain a height over 20 feet! Clematis 'Ville De Lyon' needs a supporting structure to grow properly and it is easy to grow with a rich, porous, alkaline soil that has plenty of room for the roots to spread.   Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded, so apply generous mulch or a shallow-rooted ground cover near the base of the vine.  Prune only after flowering is completed by removing any weak or dead stems. Lavender - Hidcote - Sale Price: $32.95 The Lavender 'Hidcote', Lavandula angustifolia 'Hidcote', is a dwarf variety that is a compact grower and reaches 18-24 inches tall.  It produces fragrant spikes of dark purple flowers in summer.  These flowers produce the purest lavender scent! Being drought tolerant, it is ideal as a short perennial shrub border or as an herb in a kitchen garden.  Lavender was selected in 1999 as the International Herb Association Plant of the Year! This plant is great for hedges and edging because 'Hidcote' has a more erect and compact habit.  It boasts 2½-inch, linear, downy leaves on strong stems.   The leaves open white, then turn a pale gray-blue-green color.  This Lavender grows in a well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil in an open, sunny spot.  For better drainage, add sand in the hole when first planting this lavender. Trim back in spring to encourage bushier growth; also deadhead after flowering. The sweetest scent of all lavender, it is also the most cold hardy, and it should be pruned back the first year. Daylily - Sunny Honey - Sale Price: $49.95 The Daylily Sunny Honey, 'Hemerocallis 'Sunny Honey', is a repeat blooming daylily with a 3 1/2 inch honey yellow flower, with a green throat. It has evergreen foliage growing to 24 inches.  The plants do not usually require dividing for several years, but are easily split apart in fall or early spring.  The spent flower stems can be trimmed back after blooms are finished but wait to cut back the dead foliage until early spring.
