Geranium - Crane's Bill - DetailsGeranium - Crane's Bill - Sale Price: $56.95
The Geranium 'Crane's Bill', Geranium sanguineum, is a hardy clump-forming perennial that produces rose-cerise colored flowers in late spring. (Also known as Bloody Cranesbill). This plant requires minimal care.  Providing well-drained soil is beneficial, and it is at home in almost any soil as along as its well drained. It needs to be planted in an area of full sun to partial shade and also must be cut down, after flowering, almost all the way to the ground. It is best to pinch rather heavily after flowering to encourage blooming throughout the summer.  'Crane's Bill' is actually an attractive plant all season, in or out of bloom.  The foliage is usually more distinctly cut than other geraniums, giving it a delicate appearance. 'Crane's Bill' can be a very useful weed smothering, tight knit, ground cover.   In a border or a rock garden, it is a lovely plant and striking when grown along a wall, with the stems and flowers tumbling over the edge! Geraniums are self seeding, fairly adaptable to short periods of dry conditions, and are free from pests and diseases. Geranium sanguineum spreads less quickly than Geranium endressii and really requires little to no care; very attractive to bees. * Hardy * Low maintenance * Clumping habit

Hosta - First Frost - DetailsHosta - First Frost - Sale Price: $12.99
The Hosta First Frost, Hosta 'First Frost', is a handsome sport of ‘Halcyon’ and begins in spring with deep blue leaves with a gold colored edging.  This edging is irregular and just about half an inch wide.  Then 'First Frost' evolves to a pure white in summer. The light lavender flowers appear on 28 inch scapes in midsummer.  ‘First Frost’ is resistant to pests and puts on a colorful display in your garden all season long.  It maintains its outstanding blue color and beautiful edging until the “first frost” in the fall; named a Designer Hosta™ and 2010 Hosta of the Year! Since the foliage spreads 3 feet wide, ‘First Frost’ is a fine size for groundcover, edging, or specimen use. This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions.  'First Frost' grows best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots. High-filtered or dappled sunlight is necessary for clean, healthy growth.  Morning sun is tolerable and will help to intensify the leaf colors, but hot afternoon sun is usually deadly to hostas! 'First Frost' is most at home in shady, woodland settings and often works well in containers. This handsome hosta will add fall color to a garden since its leaves retain their color until the first frost! * Staying power * Blue to white leaves * Low maintenance

Grass - Graziella Maiden - DetailsGrass - Graziella Maiden - Sale Price: $99.95
The Grass 'Graziella' Maiden, Miscanthus sinensis 'Graziella', is an earlier blooming, more compact maiden grass. It has slender green foliage on clumps with large white blooms in late summer. The fine texture of the leaves set it apart from other garden grasses. 'Graziella' is easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Although it is a versatile ornamental grass, the clumps of this plant need lots of room. This grass is tolerant of a wide range of soils from well-drained sandy soils to the heavy clays. Prune off the dead grass in early before it resumes growing. Blooming earlier than most Miscanthus, tiny white flowers appear in tassel-like inflorescences above the foliage in late summer, gradually turning into silvery white plumes as the seeds mature. Plant 'Graziella' grass where it’s wonderful winter interest can be enjoyed. Use this plant as an vertical accent plant, in mass plantings, and short hedges.

Hibiscus - Kopper King - USPP 10,793 - DetailsHibiscus - Kopper King - USPP 10,793 - Sale Price: $49.95
The Hibiscus ‘Kopper King’, is the most popular variety of the Fleming Hibiscus.  Named by James Fleming himself, it has a plant height of 4’ and beautiful dinner-plate size 12” flowers! The flowers are white with red centers that fade to pink as they streak through the veination to the petal’s edge. The foliage took over 20 years to develop and refine and one can see why. Unlike most hibiscuses, ‘Kopper King’ has maple-cut, copper-red shaded leaves, with some leaves having copper on both sides. It is best to plant this Hibiscus in a full sun area, and it will tolerate most soil types.  ‘Kopper King’ looks wonderful with grasses, as a background plant or with Hibiscus ‘Old Yella’. It grows well in any fertile, well-drained soil with ample moisture. Do not allow to dry to the wilting point.  Be patient; hibiscus can be slow to emerge in spring; provide regular fertilization during this growing season.  For best performance, plant before the heat of the summer. ‘Kopper King’ is suitable for very large containers, but pots must be protected over winter.  Although the hibiscus grows tall, the need for staking is rare.  These plants will die back to ground level during the winter months.  Be careful to not over water until plants show signs of growth! Hibiscus needs little care once established, attracts butterflies, and it has some of the largest flowers of any perennial! * Large flowers * Easy to grow * Vigorous grower
