Barberry - Bonanza Gold® The Barberry 'Bonanza Gold', Berberis thunbergii Bogozam, is a dwarf form or golden barberry that commands special attention in the landscape due to its outstanding bright gold foliage. 'Bonanza Gold' produces gracefully arching branches of bright-gold foliage. Often used for informal hedges, this Japanese barberry produces inconspicuous yellow flowers in spring and berries that persist throughout the winter. A low maintenance plant, it forms a dense mound that can be used as a specimen or foundation plant.
