The Bluebeard Petit Blue, 'Caryopteris 'minibleu' petit bleu, a Proven Winners selection, is a compact Bluebeard that has a very tight growth habit. Petit Blue blooms from July through September. The short internodes result in an intense floral display.The flowers contast nicely with the dark green, glossy foliage.This plant is very attractive to butterflies.Plant this flower for a mixed border or in perennial beds. They may also be planted as part of a wildlife garden. Place in loose, well drained soil.

The Weigela 'Minuet', Weigela florida 'Minuet', is a hardy dwarf variety with green-tinged-purple leaves.  This plant was developed in Canada ‘Minuet’ is a dense, rounded, deciduous weigela that is noted for its dwarf size, purple tinged foliage, and purplish red flowers with yellow throats. Minuet produces a profusion of slightly fragrant flowers, a minuet in color.  The corolla is ruby red, the petal lobes are lilac-purple, and the throat is yellow. This weigela needs full sun for best flowering and foliage color, but will tolerate very light or sun dappled shade.  Prune to shape if needed immediately after flowering.
