Butterfly Bush - Miss Molly
Buddleia (Butterfly Bush) Miss Molly, Buddleia davidii 'Miss Molly', becomes the centerpiece of any bed or border! Miss Molly has a gorgeous color and wonderful fragrance -- butterflies and hummingbirds stop often to visit. It is tall and mighty and has a very long bloom time, making it a great addition to butterfly gardens or even as a landscape plant. Miss Molly exhibits its sangria-red flowers on a mounded bushy plant and blooms in late summer until the first hard frost. This compact plant is smaller than some of the other buddleia varieties, and its distinctive flower color makes late summer gardens pop! Its full, bushy branching habit supports more flower heads. It will die to the ground and grow again in spring. The plant flowers on new growth, indicating it should be pruned in early spring. Leaves appear in late spring and remains late in fall. Zones 5-10. * This is an eye-popping butterfly bush!
