Coral Bells - Splendens - Sale Price: $49.95 The Coral Bells Splendens, 'Heuchera sanguinea 'Splendens', is an evergreen, tuft forming perennial producing vivid, scarlet flowers that bloom in late spring-early summer.  The foliage is dark green, and geranium-like. The basal foliage is heart shaped or roundish with 5-7 slightly toothed lobes.  Its crinkled lobed leaves remain dark green in color throughout the year.  The unique-looking flowers of 'Splendens' coral bells are wonderful for a border.  Making a great groundcover too, ‘Splendens’ is a low maintenance perennial, and should be cut back in late fall in preparation for winter. Clematis is easy to grow in a rich, porous, alkaline soil with plenty of room for the roots to spread.
