Bee Balm - Purple Rooster - Sale Price: $39.95 Monarda (Bee Balm) Purple Rooster, Monarda didyma 'Purple Rooster', is a clump-forming plant of the mint family. ‘Purple Rooster’ will really “strut its stuff” in the landscape with its deep wine colored flowers that appear as raspberries in bud stage. This Bee Balm is easy to grow, multiplies quickly, and is native of eastern North America; has minty aromatic foliage often used to flavor teas multiplies quickly. Hibiscus - Summer Storm - Sale Price: $84.95 Hibiscus Summer Storm (Rose Mellow), Hibiscus moscheutos 'Summer Storm', is continuously smothered with spectacular 10 wide, medium pink to rose-colored flowers, along with deeply-lobed luscious dark purple leaves.  Each flower has dark pink veining and a magenta eye that radiates through the petals! ‘Summer Storm’ puts on a fabulous show from midsummer to fall.  Moist soils are ideal, but this hibiscus is quite drought-tolerant.  All summer long you'll enjoy hundreds of these exotic flowers, along with the many butterflies, bees and hummingbirds that this plant attracts. This hardy hibiscus will die back to the ground every winter and emerge from the ground in the middle to late spring season; cut back to 4-6 from the ground in the spring.  It is root hardy and needs no protection.  Remove old canes to the ground in mid winter. Felix Supreme is excellent for cutting. All of our peonies are widely adaptable to most soils across the country. They bloom in mid to late spring and have very large, colorful blooms that stand out in the spring garden. Peonies can handle dry to moist sites, and do best in full sun but can handle some light shade. Often thought of as a plant used on the farm or out in the country, they bring a little bit of that country feeling to your garden. It is not uncommon to see peonies planted along the driveway or lane in a mass. Peonies are simple to grow and can be utilized in many ways, including mass plantings, specimens, or hedges. Bleeding Heart - Specatabilis - Sale Price: $64.25 The Bleeding Heart Specatabilis, 'Dicentra ‘specatabilis’, is a fast-growing perennial with pink, heart-shaped flowers. It is the most common variety in its species. The blooms look wonderful against its grayish foliage.  Dicentra ‘specatabilis’ has a plant height of 30” and a width of 20”. This Dicentra should be planted in full sun but will tolerate morning shade.  It is heat tolerant and needs moist soil.  Do not let it dry out. This Bleeding Heart will bloom from May to September and is a major attractor to butterflies. The foliage does go dormant, so it is best to plant this bleeding heart among later developing perennials such as hostas and ferns which will fill in as the bleeding heart foliage begins to die back. ‘Specatabilis’ makes excellent cut flowers, in mass with groundcovers, or in potted containers. Ligularia - Brit Marie - Sale Price: $42.75 The Ligularia Brit Marie Crawford, Ligularia dentate ‘Brit Marie’, is a wonderful yellow-orange, daisy-like flower with huge glossy maroon foliage that remains dark for most of the season.  (This plant was first discovered by Britt-Marie Crawford in Fife, Scotland.) ‘Brit Marie’ is a clump-forming herbaceous perennial that is grown not only for its showy purple-black leaves, but also for its summer display of bold daisy-like orange-yellow flowers! The foliage can be rounding, kidney-shaped, or triangular with a wavy margin.  The flowers appear on tall spikes and bloom from July to August.   ‘Brit Marie’ has a plant height of 3-4’ and a spread of 36-48”.
