Bee Balm - Petite Delight - Sale Price: $64.25 The Monarda 'Petite Delight', Monarda didyma, also known as Bee Balm, Bergamont, Horsemint, Oswego Tea, is a clump-forming perennial that has tubular, two-lipped, light red to purple flowers with dark green aromatic foliage. 'Petite Delight' stands at 15' high and has a plant spread of 12-18 and blooms from July to August. It is one of the smallest Monarda in its family and has the darkest foliage. If deadheaded, (remove old flowers from a plant) longer bloom times will be encouraged.   Needs to be planted in full sun, but will tolerate afternoon shade. Petite Delights are best grown in rich soil in a well-drained area, not being allowed to dry out. Daylily - Nosferatu - Sale Price: $54.95 Hemerocallis Nosferatu, Hemerocallis 'Nosferatu', shows off its huge, broad triangle-shaped petals!   It has fragrant 6 flowers that have a shiny dark purple color. These ruffled blossoms prove to hold their color in the sun and have more prominent veining in their purple petals. ‘Nosferatu’ blooms mid season, has a very high bud count, is an easy to grow variety, and will stand up to even the harshest of conditions. This daylily is a semi evergreen tetraploid.  Individual flowers last only one day, but since each plant produces many buds, the total blooming time of a well-established clump may last more than a month; attracts butterflies. Use ‘Nosferatu’ daylily for color in shrub borders and in perennial beds.  Once established, the daylily can be an excellent groundcover on slopes because it has roots that hold soil against erosion.  Divide every 3-5 years, or when the number of flower buds and the size of bloom begin to decline.   Plant daylilies in sites that provide well-drained soil and plenty of sun. Grass - Red Switch - Sale Price: $64.25 Grass - Red Switch, Panicum virgatum 'Shenandoah', has a more upright form and is the smallest of the Panicum. It is a clump-forming, warm season grass which typically grows in an upright, vertical clump to 3' tall (to 5' when in flower). Its foliage is green, tinged with red during the growing season, then turning bright red in the fall. Nothing comes close to the fall color displayed by this grass, and it retains this color throughout the winter! It will attract birds and is suitable for cut and dried flower arrangements. Red Switch Grass prefers full sun, moist fertile soil, but adapts to a wide range of soil conditions. Red Switch is a warm season grass that likes to grow in warm weather. Before it will show signs of life in the spring, the soil must warm up, and be warm for possibly as long as two weeks. This switch grass can be used very effectively when planted with fall blooming asters. Cut back clumps to the ground in late winter to early spring.

Vino will bloom primarily on old wood of the previous season, with a second flush later in summer.  If necessary, prune it back every second or third year to just above a set of buds about 6-8 inches from the ground to allow it to rejuvenate. Vino prefers part shade and well drained soil. It has green foliage throughout the season and the compound leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color.
