Daylily - Eenie Weenie - Sale Price: $49.95 The Daylily, Eenie Weenie, 'Hemerocallis 'Eenie Weenie', is a favorite summer-blooming sun perennial with showy clusters of 1>-inch light yellow flowers with a green throat. The Eenie Weenie is a true dwarf as the grass-like clumps of foliage reaches a mere 10 inches tall. It is an early to mid-season re-blooming daylily. To promote new foliage and re-bloom, cut the plant back to 6 inches after it blooms. This plant makes a fantastic groundcover or edging as it is a true dwarf. Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone).

At first the buds open to twisting petals that have bright orange-yellow stamens.  As they mature, the flowers turn to a rich blue around creamy stamens. Even in a hot, dry summer this plant continues to bloom strong!
