Clematis - Roguchi
Clematis Roguchi, Clematis 'Roguchi', is a newer Japanese Clematis which features unusual 2 bell shaped flowers of intense deep blue/purple with lighter blue recurved petals. This lax clinger is very fragrant and free flowering. Very long blooming from June thru September. Clematis 'Roguchi' is a weaver, so it doesn’t need a formal support; it grows through and among surrounding plants. Clematis is easy to grow in a rich, porous, alkaline soil with plenty of room for the roots to spread.  Prune lightly above the new leaf buds in early spring and remove any dead or weak stems Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded, so apply generous mulch or a shallow-rooted ground cover near the base of the vine. Clematis 'Roguchi' is a very reliable performer once established; it takes a season or two! Regarded as the best of all bell shaped bloomers, plant Clematis 'Roguchi' close by so you can enjoy the lovely shape and intense color of the flowers! * Intense color * Long blooming * Lax climber

Yarrow - Paprika - DetailsYarrow - Paprika - Sale Price: $64.25
The Yarrow ‘Paprika’, Achillea millefolium, is an upright gold centered, fading to light pink & creamy yellow, Yarrow that blooms from June through September. With fern-like aromatic silvery to gray-green foliage, it is considered to be one of the best yarrows in any landscape. The foliage has a somewhat strong, spicy aroma, which persists when used in dried arrangements. The flower heads are 3-4” wide, with a spread of 18-24” and a height of 24”. This Yarrow does well in average garden soils, but prefers lean, dry to medium wet, well-drained soil. (Avoid heavy clays and moist, rich, fertile soils.) Yarrow should be planted in full sun and is tolerant to hot humid summers. ‘Paprika’ is excellent for cutting, fresh or dried. Remove faded flowers regularly to promote continued blooming. Inclined to spread, so site this carefully or plan to reduce the clumps each spring. For an attraction to butterflies, deer and rabbit resistant, one can’t go wrong with this plant.

Hosta - Halcyon - DetailsHosta - Halcyon - Sale Price: $56.95
Gardeners are always looking for two things: 1) shade plants and 2) blue plants. The Halcyon Hosta is made for the shade and is the most interesting frosty ocean-blue color, earning it the 1997 Award of Merit (AGM). It’s a vigorous (but slower) grower with ribbed, spear-shaped foliage that sits underneath white-to-lavender bell-shaped flowers from July to August — but the real show is the foliage itself. Slug-resistant, attracts hummingbirds during blooming. Halycon Hosta grows in the familiar “fountain” mound shape to about 2’ tall and wide, and prefers full shade in a moist but well-drained spot. Also known as funkia or plantain lily, Hosta Halcyon is a reliable winner that requires little attention. Spectacular when planted in shade borders, around large shade trees and even in large containers. One of the best hostas available. Zones 4-8.
