Daylily - Montego Melonâ„¢ - Sale Price: $42.75 The Daylily 'Montego Melon', Hemerocallis 'TP 06-13', is an early-blooming daylily with soft yellow blooms on a more compact plant.  Because of its long bloom season, and multiple flowering cycles, this daylily is perfect for mass plantings and perennial beds! The compact grass-like foliage is rust resistant and matures to 15-18 inches, so it is considered a low growing daylily.  This rugged, adaptable, vigorous perennial endures in a garden for many years with little or no care. Daylilies adapt to a wide range of soil and light conditions.  They establish quickly, grow vigorously, and survive winters with little or no injury.  Individual flowers last only one day, but since each plant produces many buds, the total blooming time of a well-established clump may last more than a month.   Divide 'Montego Melon' every 3-5 years, or when the number of flower buds and the size of bloom begin to decline; divide in early spring.   Plant daylilies in sites that provide well-drained soil and plenty of sun.
