Blazing Star - Kobold Gayfeather - Sale Price: $49.95 The Liatris ‘Kobold Gayfeather’, Liatris spicata, has tall, lilac-rose spike-shaped flowers with a fluffy appearance and dark green foliage. These unique flowers open from the top down and bloom from June to September.  It is a major butterfly and bee attractor. Liatris ‘Kobold’ has a plant height of 2’ and a spread of 12-18” and should be planted in full sun in a well-drained area.  It does prefer a bit more moisture than most Liatris, but do not over water. Liatris ‘Kobold’ looks great as a perennial background, with grasses or white blooming flowers such as Physostegia ‘Miss Manners’. Yarrow - Saucy Seduction - Sale Price: $42.75 The Yarrow Saucy Seduction, Achillea millefolium 'Saucy Seduction' PPAF, is part of the Seduction series. This line is known for sturdy, compact growth, long bloom periods, and interesting flowers. 'Saucy Seduction' PPAF produces clusters of rich rose-pink flowers, each with a tiny white eye, and subtle white shading from June into August. Rich green foliage with silvery highlights forms dense upright columns. 'Saucy Seduction' PPAF proves to be an excellent garden performer, along with being drought and heat tolerant. Achilles is great for cut bouquets and they can also be used as a dried flower. Yarrow can tolerate poor soil conditions, but does best in lean, dry to medium wet, well-drained soil.
