Coneflower - Maui Sunshine
Coneflower - Maui Sunshine Echinacea Maui Sunshine (Coneflower), Echinacea 'Maui Sunshine', will warm up your garden with its stunning shade of bright yellow sweetly scented blooms; mature flowers become a soft yellow. ‘Maui Sunshine’ is a vigorous grower with strong, well branched stems. The long lasting flowers attract butterflies and hummingbirds and are great in cut flower arrangements! This Echinacea will present a season full of sunshine yellow with daisy-like flowers; best effect if grouped or massed. Divide clumps when they become overcrowded (about every 4 years). ‘Maui Sunshine’ usually reblooms without deadheading, but if spent flowers are removed, this procedure will encourage continued beautiful blooms and improves general appearance. Highly fragrant, this coneflower keeps coming all summer on tall plants with excellent branching. This plant is deer resistant. If you leave some spent blooms on the plants in fall their seeds provide winter food for birds. You can enjoy the dried seed heads as well, because they will provide architectural interest in the winter. ‘Maui Sunshine’ is an outstanding flower with an intense yellow color. It will bring a brilliant display to a sunny location! * Fragrant * Hardy * Long lasting blooms
