Coreopsis Big Bang™, Coreopsis 'Redshift' PP20,412 Big Bang™ Series, is a clump-forming variety that produces large 2 inch diameter creamy yellow flowers. Coreopsis 'Redshift' PP20,412 adds a pop of color with a ring of red that encircles the gold button-like centers. 'Redshift' Coreopsis is easy to place, requiring only a sunny spot with average garden soil. It is a very heavy bloomer and cuts well. Give this plant a hard shearing to promote rebloom. Blooms June to July with some blooming until fall. Plant 'Redshift' into well-drained, lean, non-clay soils, and mix it with red or orange flowers for an outrageous display of floral fireworks. Tickseed is used for accent plants, border plants, mass plantings, patio containers and cut flowers.
