Daylily - Bahama Pink Skyâ„¢ The Daylily, Bahama Pink Sky(TM) PPAF, Hemerocallis 'TP 06-01', is an early-blooming daylily with tones of pink, melon and a red throated bloom on a more compact plant. ‘Bahama Pink’ has a long bloom season and multiple flowering cycles which makes it perfect for mass plantings and perennial beds! The large, yellow-gold leaves have ruffled, dark green edges with multiple shades of green. The oval shape of the slightly textured leaves give this plant added interest. It typically grows in a fountain-like clump to 2' tall and features leathery, lance-shaped, evergreen (green at Christmas time as the common name suggests) fronds. The stocking shape of the pinnae also suggests Christmas! Crosiers (young fiddleheads) in spring are silvery and scaled. Sori appear on the undersides of the pinnae only at the ends (last 1/3) of the fronds. Christmas ferns are asymmetrical with a fine texture and have a moderately dense crown. The evergreen fronds provide good winter interest for the landscape. This fern does not spread but the clumps increase in size over time.
