Hellebore - Ivory Prince
Hellebore - Ivory Prince The Hellebore Ivory Prince PP16199, 'Helleborus x 'Walhelivory', is a cool climate, vigorous growing perennial. The blue green, leathery, evergreen foliage is shrub-like and is the canvas for the lovely, creamy white blooms that blush pink as they mature. Hellebore ‘Ivory Prince’ is compact and shorter than most hellebores, and it is incredibly floriferous with upward facing waxy blooms in green, shading to ivory and tinged in pink! The ‘Ivory Prince’ prefers part shade and rich soil. ‘Ivory Prince’ requires a moist, shaded site and responds especially well to planting under deep-rooted deciduous trees such as Oaks or Crab Apples. ‘Ivory Prince’ will bloom in late winter to early spring and will reach 12 to 18 inches tall and 18 to 24 inches wide. Hellebores are easy to care for; trim back last year’s foliage in the spring. They are deer and rabbit resistant, and drought tolerant once rooted. They make excellent patio and container plants and are useful in woodland shade. Hellebores generally prove tenacious and long-lived! * Drought tolerant * Evergreen * Long living

Rose - Red Meidiland® - Shrub - Sale Price: $71.35 Red Meidiland® Rose, Rosa 'MEIneble' (PP7,116), is covered by small, dense leaves of glossy dark green. It produces clusters of single red roses (to 3” diameter) with white centers and yellow stamens in a continuous bloom from May to frost. The flowers have no fragrance. The blooms are borne in sprays of seven to fifteen. The end of the season brings a special attraction as orange-red fruit persists along bronze winter stems. This rose has its own root. The advantage of own root roses is that once established they are very resilient. If winter's freezing breezes kill the top growth, the rose will grow back in the spring, and the recovered rose will look the same as the one you purchased. Red Meidiland is a low-growing shrub rose with a creeping habit that is often grown as a ground cover. It typically grows with arching or cascading stems to 1.5 to 2 feet tall and spreads to 4 to 5 feet wide. Meidiland roses are landscape and ground cover roses that come from Meidiland of France. A groundcover of dark green and sparkling with red flowers! |
| Hosta - Dance with Me - Sale Price: $42.75 The Hosta Dance with Me, Hosta 'Dance with Me', will put on a fantastic performance in your landscape! A reverse of Last Dance, the ‘Dance with Me’ prefers part sun for the best color display. The heart-shaped, nearly round leaves are thick and heavily textured and have a pale yellow color with light green margins. ‘Dance with Me’ will produce long season appeal and has a good resistance to garden pests. It is a medium sized hosta and produces lavender flowers in late summer that attract hummingbirds. It is a low care perennial that is ideal for a slightly sunny area. This hosta grows best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5. Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots. High-filtered or dappled sunlight is necessary for clean, healthy growth. Morning sun is tolerable and will help to intensify the leaf colors, but hot afternoon sun is usually deadly to hostas! Hostas also grow well in city environments where the air may be polluted by car exhaust, etc. With its colorful and heavily textured leaves, ‘Dance with Me’ will put on an outstanding performance in any shaded landscape! * Low maintenance * Heart-shaped leaves * Resistance to garden pests |
| Daylily - August Frost - Sale Price: $54.95 Hemerocallis August Frost, Hemerocallis 'August Frost', is a daylily that exhibits a healthy, hardy clump of green foliage and is a faithful and heavy performer; not a rebloomer. ‘August Frost’ has large, 6” near white to pale yellow flowers that have narrow gold edging on the petals. This daylily tolerates the temperature extremes of the season, and because of its beautiful form and overlapping petals, ‘August Frost’ provides a bright accent to a garden. Its blooms are impressive and the fabulous contrasting gold wire edges make a dainty ruffled flounce! Because it is a late bloomer, you can enjoy its fabulous color when other perennials begin to fade. Individual flowers last only one day but since each plant produces many buds, the total blooming time of a well-established clump may last over a month. Use this daylily for color in shrub borders and in perennial beds. It is an excellent ground cover on slopes because daylilies have roots that hold soil against erosion once established. ‘August Frost’ makes a beautiful floral arrangement. Daylilies are some of the easiest plants to grow and are a good choice for any gardener. They will grow in almost any soil and handle drought to wet soil conditions. Planted together in large numbers, they quickly crowd out weeds and make a carefree and colorful ground cover; attracts butterflies. Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone). * Late bloomer * Hardy * Carefree |

| Hosta - Minuteman - Sale Price: $56.95 Hosta Minuteman, Hosta 'Minuteman', has bold creamy white margins on thick dark green leaves, which makes this Hosta a real knockout! The dark green center, with erect leaves, makes this a very eye catching and handsome mound. Pale lavender striped flowers are an added bonus, and this hosta demonstrates good sun tolerance. 'Minuteman' is a selection from Hosta 'Francee' and an improvement over the very popular Hosta 'Patriot'; however, the white margin does not go as deep into the leaf. This is a low care perennial and is ideal for shady positions and is one of the most popular for landscapes. It is best to keep areas around hostas clear of excess leaf debris to reduce the presence of slugs and snails. It grows well in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5. Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots. Plant 'Minuteman' in an area that receives the right amount of light. The leaves need some morning sun to bring out the best coloration; too much sun will burn the leaves, although 'Minuteman' has some sun tolerance. This 'Minuteman' Hosta is an outstanding addition to any garden! * Mounded habit * Thick leaves * Good sun tolerance |
