Hosta - Sleeping Beauty - Sale Price: $39.95 Hosta Sleeping Beauty, Hosta 'Sleeping Beauty', is a sport of the award winning Hosta 'Halcyon' and is one of our favorites! The pointed, frosty blue-green leaves are complemented by a lovely creamy margin.  Hosta 'Sleeping Beauty' is a superb grower with thick, slug resistant foliage; pale lavender blue flowers appear in mid-summer.  Hostas grow best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots.  It is best to keep areas around hostas clear of excess leaf debris to reduce the presence of slugs and snails.  Plant this low care plant in an area that receives the right amount of light.  The leaves need some morning sun to bring out the best coloration; too much sun will burn the leaves. 'Sleeping Beauty'' is most at home in shady, woodland settings and often works well as specimen or edging plant. Daylily - Prairie Wildfire - Sale Price: $56.95 Daylily Prairie Wildfire, Hemerocallis 'Prairie Wildfire' is known for its prolific bloom performance that sets the garden ablaze in midsummer! The large 5” flowers are rich red, very round, and then open flat.  It has finely ruffled edges and a contrasting bright yellow throat.  The flowers have a delicate fragrance for an added bonus! Daylilies are some of the easiest plants to grow and are a good choice for any gardener.  They will grow in almost any soil and handle drought to wet soil conditions; prefers a full sun area that is well-drained. Use 'Prairie Wildfire' for stand alone plantings, edging, in borders or in mixed containers and tubs.  Planted together in large numbers, they quickly crowd out weeds and make a carefree and colorful ground cover. Japanese Spurge - Green Sheen - Sale Price: $56.95 The Japanese Spurge 'Green Sheen', Pachysandra terminalis 'Green Sheen', has lustrous, shiny green leaves; the sheen is so impressive you think it can't be real! It is an evergreen ground cover, and the plant has a tidy habit which makes it a landscape winner.  It grows in deep shade and is ideal for using under shallow rooted trees. Maturing at a height of 12 inches, it spreads slowly to moderately fast by underground rhizomes.  'Green Sheen' prefers well drained, organically rich loam and shade.  It will tolerate some sun in northern zones, but needs shade in southern zones. Tiarella - Neon Lights Foam Flower - Sale Price: $56.95 The Tiarella Neon Lights, 'Tiarella hybrid', PPAF, also known as Foamflower, is becoming one of the most popular shade perennials on the market today. ‘Neon Lights’ has deeply cut fuzzy green foliage. The highlights of black and purple patterns make it what it is. Best of all, the coloration is more intense during the winter months, not to mention being lightly fragrant. White flowers appear in the summer; however, Tiarella’s are not especially noted for their flowers. ‘Neon Lights’ has a plant height of 6-8” and a plant spread of 12-15”.
