Hydrangea - Blue Bunny
Hydrangea - Blue Bunny Named a Proven Winner. A very special hydrangea, this one. Blue Bunny™ produces a copious number of charming blue-and-white lacecap flowers from late summer until frost, and will reliably do so year after year. Even the elegant, rounded buds are lovely. ‘Blue Bunny’ is also sought-after because of its unusual fuzzy leaves, which add texture and interest to the planting area. Unlike some other pink and blue varieties, the flower color is not at all affected by the soil pH. In general, hydrangeas require even moisture and need good drainage. For the best flower display, feed in early spring with a slow-release fertilizer that is designed especially for trees and shrubs, and if it needs shaping, prune just after flowering. This plant is most effective in groups, in the border, in hedges or in a woodland garden. Asexual propagation prohibited. Zones 6-9
