Small, shiny, evergreen leaves become purplish green in cold weather. Clusters of 1/2 inch long, white, tubular flowers appear prolifically at stem ends; flowers will keep appearing until frost. Occasional tip pruning encourages re-bloom. Use as a container plant or 'Rose Creek' Abelia is perfect for foundation plantings or mass plantings around the yard. Rose of Sharon - Blue Satin - Sale Price: $85.65 Rose of Sharon - Blue Satin, Hibiscus syriacus 'Marina' (PP12,680), is a vigorous, bloom-happy shrub. It not only gives you plenty of flowers, but boasts the most beautiful coloring in the Hibiscus world, and just doesn't know when to quit! Blue Satin has larger flowers, better color, more branching, and gives an all-around longer show. You'll love these huge 3-inch blooms, with magenta throats, and an ivory center that complements the strong royal blue tone of the petals. The flowers are very uniform in color, too -- no washed out end-of-season blooms here! A moderate grower, it's also pollution-tolerant. Rose of Sharon prefers full sun and well-drained soil and is very tolerant of heat and drought. It is a fine choice for hot, dry spots where other shrubs are not happy. Keep it well watered during growth. Blue Satin does best in full sun, but light shade is acceptable, especially in far southern or southwestern climates. One's ability to shape Rose of Sharon also makes the shrub a prime candidate for hedges. It is a profuse bloomer and not only blooms late, but leafs out late, as well. Pussy Willow - Black - Sale Price: $49.95 Pussy Willow - Black, Salix gracilistylus ‘Melanostachys’ is a quick growing shrub with flowers/catkins that form along the stems of the plant. The procession of black catkins resembling little black caterpillars can range from a half-inch to two inches in length, starting small early in the season, then lengthening and changing color as they mature. The female catkins stay flat black until well-expanded, but males will add a fine-textured, silky red to orange staminate haze. Black Pussy Willow will spread aggressively by underground roots and above ground suckers, but you can prune this plant pretty severely to keep it in check. The nearly toothless leaves on the upper surface are deep green, the lower a soft gray-green. The leaves often take on a tattered appearance by fall; tree will occasionally produce a yellow fall color display. Although it does not like standing water, the Black Pussy Willow does like to have water nearby. Planting it in full sun will help keep some of the fungal problems in check. It is quite tolerant of many soil types as well as moderate road salt and pollution exposure. The branches, along with the catkins, can make elegant and divine bouquets.

Double Flowering Plum - Sale Price: $64.25 A familiar sight across the northeast quarter of the U.S in May is the Double Flowering Plum, a cold-hardy shrub that puts on quite a show with its gorgeous double candy-pink flowers blanketing each branch with blooms. It tends toward a round shape, is a robust grower and will withstand wind and cold winters well. The foliage is more of a medium grass-green than dark green, and turns to an attractive yellow-bronze color in the fall. The Double Flowering Plum can take a lot of abuse in terms of soil condition, but it does need good sun, good drainage and ample room to perform at its best. It can also be pruned and trained into a tree form. The Double Flowering plum does not produce fruit and it does not tolerate road salt. Zones 3-8 Gorgeous Flowers!
