Rhododendron - Ingrid Mehlequist
The Rhododendron 'Ingrid Mehlequist', Rhododendron 'Ingrid Mehlequist', is an evergreen shrub with a low and compact habit reaching 3 feet tall and 4 feet wide. This plant produces clusters of pink buds that open to reveal ruffled white blooms that shine against the dark green foliage. From a very young age, this ultra-hardy, compact cultivar offers big blooms in great trusses during May and June! Best performance is in light shade; afternoon sun should be avoided, particularly in Southern climates. Being a standout in any garden or landscape, this Rhododendron requires little pruning and even less maintenance.
